Calusa Bay is located on the corner of Orange Blossom Drive and Goodlette-Frank Road in Naples, Florida and was quickly built between the years of 1997 and 1998 by Jim Wallace. In total, there are three hundred and forty-two homes spread across approximately fifty acres of land. The home building design of choice for Calusa Bay includes carriage and coach homes ranging in size from approximately 1,200 square feet to approximately 2,000 square feet. Homes come with one to two car garages or carports. Every home in Calusa Bay are provided with excellent views of pristine lakes complete with automated fountains allowing relaxation to be experienced at its finest! Homeowners Association fees are low and include cable, insurance, WiFi access, irrigation water, lawn and land maintenance, legal accounting, management, exterior pest control, reserves, sewer, street lights, street maintenance, trash removal and water.

Amenities within the community include a centralized clubhouse with an included library with free internet access, state-of-the-art fitness center, and can be used for community functions, social gatherings, game nights, or meeting place for friends, family, or colleagues. Attached to the clubhouse is an olympic sized swimming pool with built in laps and bubbling spa. Spread throughout the neighborhood, residents indulge in two Har Tru clay tennis courts, an additional satellite pool with sundeck, picnic and barbecue areas, children playground, two miles of walking trails intertwined with the homes, and a fishing pier extending from the main clubhouse. An active social committee is dedicated to bringing its residing members monthly events and get-togethers. Approximately ten other committees are available to be joined including the welcome, lighting, landscaping, and finance committees. Clubs that are currently offered include Bingo, Bridge, Dominoes, Knitting, Singles among others. A personal tv channel is available within Calusa Bay for those that are not able to leave the home and like to stay informed on what is happening around the area.

Calusa Bay is so close to everything that the city of Naples has to offer it’s residents. Nearby shopping plazas and fine dining venues include The Waterside Shops, Coastland Center Mall, Mercato, Miromar Outlets, Fifth Avenue, Third Street District and Coconut Point Mall. Additionally, the local library is within walking distance for when you feel the urge to get lost in a new book.
